The award ceremony for the “Facing Bullying, Embracing LOVE” Micro Video Competition 2024 was grandly held on August 30th at the Moreton Terrace Activities Centre Hall. Students, teachers, and parents from participating schools attended this event, witnessing this unique anti-bullying initiative together.
The competition aims to raise students’ awareness of the definition of bullying. Through creative activities, it encourages young people to commit to not engaging in bullying behaviour, fostering care and empathy for themselves and others, and establishing positive values.
Several awards were presented on the day, including the champion, first runner-up, and second runner-up for both primary and secondary school categories, as well as the “Most Inspirational Content Award”, “Most Favourite Micro Video Award”, and the “Love in Action” Grand Prize. The “Most Favourite Micro Video Award” was determined by both the judges’ panel and public voting, reflecting the audience’s recognition of the works. These awards not only affirm the efforts of the participants but also encourage them to spread positive energy!

All the works in this contest not only accurately captured various forms of bullying but also conveyed positive anti-bullying messages through warm and touching visuals.
After the award ceremony concluded successfully, the attendees expressed that this event not only successfully raised public awareness of the issue of school bullying but also encouraged young people to use creativity and action to care about the people and things around them, contributing to creating a fairer and more inclusive school environment.
Next year, we look forward to receiving more exciting and creative micro videos, continuing to spread the message of anti-bullying together, and letting love and care spread throughout the campus.
