Hong Kong's fifth wave of COVID-19 epidemic was very severe, with the number of confirmed cases hitting record high since the middle of February 2022.

Hoping to minimize most of the activities in our society to reduce the chance of infection, the Chief Executive made a special school announcement in late February. Students from primary and secondary schools took the summary holidays (Special Vacation) in March/April and the school term ended by mid-August.

To enrich the students’ learning and experiences, IEA had further collaborated with TAU for another online programme on Biotechnology for students aged 12 to 15 during the Special Vacation.

Students who complete the course will receive a certificate from TAU.
